Letters
Recognising capital and small letters and knowing each letter’s name.
For grown-ups
Annamaria's Wonder World is made for children aged about 2–5 to enjoy with a grown-up. Each story and game practises one small early-learning skill. Here is what that looks like, plainly, without big promises.
Recognising capital and small letters and knowing each letter’s name.
Hearing the first sound of a word ("ball" and "bus" start the same). We keep the letter NAME ("bee") and the letter SOUND (/b/) separate.
Naming everyday objects, animals and actions in each world’s story.
Counting objects one by one, matching a number to a quantity, "one more" and "too many".
Naming circle, square, triangle and rectangle and noticing them inside bigger things.
Naming colours and finding them around us.
Spotting what comes next and what happens first, next and last. Coming to the garden soon: the Pattern Train and Story Castle.
Recognising happy, sad, surprised and worried faces, and kind things to do. No feeling is "bad".
What we don't claim: we don't say the games raise IQ or guarantee any result. They are gentle practice that is fun to share. Every child learns at their own pace.
